Biography
Igor Tomas is an attorney at Stoiljkovic LAW.
Igor focuses on civil law, with special emphasis on compensation for damages, insurance law, family law, real estate and construction law, and administrative law. In his work, he provides legal support to domestic and foreign individuals and legal entities through court and administrative representation, legal advisory, and drafting of legal documents.
He gained his professional experience through many years of work in one of the leading law firms in Belgrade, handling representation of individuals and legal entities in civil and administrative proceedings, as well as legal advisory and drafting legal acts.
Igor graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, as one of the top students of his generation. During his master studies in commercial law at the same faculty, he developed advanced expertise in insurance law, insurance contracts, and compensation for damages.
During his studies, he was a scholarship holder of Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina and an active participant in numerous professional activities. He particularly stood out in national moot court competitions, where he won the national championship title of the Republic of Serbia twice.
He passed both the bar judicial exam and the attorney exam and is registered in the Register of Attorneys of the Belgrade Bar Association.
As he comes from Bosnia and Herzegovina and built his education and career in the Republic of Serbia, Igor has insight into the legal systems of both countries and experience in resolving matters with an international element. He pays special attention to legal support for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Serbia, as well as clients from Serbia whose legal relations are connected to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Igor joined the Stoiljkovic LAW team to further strengthen the firm's practice in civil law, compensation for damages, insurance law, and representation of clients before courts and other competent authorities.
